Facebook Posts / Comments and Reamaze

Hey all,

We’ve recently rolled out a change to the way Reamaze handles page comments and ad comments. We now have support for Facebook Page Boostable Posts! If you’re not already familiar with Boostable Posts, it’s basically a way for you to show your ads in people’s feeds for a fee. Facebook Page managers often love to do this while a post is still unpublished.

Previously, Reamaze did not sync these comments because they are not standard public Page posts. We are now taking normal posts and boostable posts and synchronizing the comments across both. In order for this to happen, we’ve changed the overall logic to only pull in a post (regular or Boostable) if there is at least one comment on the post or if it originated from someone that’s not the Page itself.

If you have Facebook Pages connected, you might notice some older posts coming in. Don’t worry, this is part of the normal update process.

We hope you’ll enjoy this update as we know lots of you have requested this. Please let us know if you have any questions!

The Reamaze Team
